A fresh batch of sabbs
Daniel Zhuo to lead ICU, with Jacob Eyre, Sky Wang, and Sarah Azam acting as Deputy Presidents.

The newly elected Sabbatical Officer team that will preside over Imperial College Union for the 2026-27 academic year was revealed on Friday, after voting for the Leadership Elections closed.
Meet your sabbs:
- Union President: Daniel Zhuo
- Deputy President (Education): Jacob Eyre
- Deputy President (Activities): Sky Wang
- Deputy President (Welfare): Sarah Azam
- ICSMSU President: Isaac Cowley
The next holder of the Felix Editor-in-Chief role, the 6th sabbatical position, is not yet known. The Editor is appointed by the Union on a different timeframe.

About the Union President: Daniel Zhuo
Daniel Zhuo, a fourth-year Civil Engineer and the current President of the City and Guilds College Union (CGCU), was elected as Union President on a platform calling for increased clarity, transparency, and student involvement within ICU.
Obtaining 40% of first-preference votes, he beat the outgoing DPW Anson To with 1982 votes to their 1453 in the 5th voting round.
The President-elect's main manifesto points were:
- Cutting the bureaucracy facing student groups by unifying digital platforms
- Improving study space availability and providing free breakfast during exam periods
- Expanding flexible job opportunities within the Union
- Pushing for fairer timing of coursework deadlines and exams
