Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall

The 2025 edition of the Fashion Awards, an annual ceremony dating back to 1989 and held in the Royal Albert Hall since 2016, took place on Monday 1st December.
Called “one of the biggest nights in the fashion industry’s calendar” by society magazine Elle, the event was hosted by the British Fashion Council and sponsored by Dutch jeweller Pandora.
Blue carpet was set up on the steps leading to the Royal Albert Hall, and students peaked from the windows of the Royal College of Arts to see stars enter the venue as cameras flashed.
Notable attendees included singers Raye, Mick Jagger and Lily Allen, as well as actresses Sharon Stone, Emily Watson, Cate Blanchett and Carey Mulligan. Fashion royalty Anna Wintour, who stepped down as Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue in June, presented awards.
The award for Designer of the Year went to Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of Dior and founder of label JW Anderson, while that of Model of the Year went to Egyptian-born American supermodel Anok Yai.
