In May, Union Council voted to denounce the right wing group called Student Rights and condemn Islamophobia.
Sabbatical Officer Name Change
This week, Council agreed to change the name of the Deputy President (Clubs & Societies) and Deputy President (Finance & Services) roles to Deputy Presidents (Activities & Development) and (Activities & Finance) respectively.
Higher Education Policy decision deferred to campus-wide referendum

College launches library redevelopment
The College has announced plans for a major redevelopment of the Central Library. The project is scheduled to begin in a few weeks and is set to finish in late 2015, with work taking place mainly this summer and next summer to minimise disruption to students.
RCSU provides UROP Bursary for student from lower income background
