Fresh ideas brewed at Enterprise Lab’s inaugural Entrepreneurship Café

The Imperial Enterprise Lab hosted its first-ever Entrepreneurship Café on 20th October, bringing together students, staff, and alumni with a shared passion for innovation. The event provided an informal networking space where aspiring entrepreneurs could exchange ideas, find collaborators, and learn about the support available to help turn concepts into viable ventures.

The Enterprise Lab buzzed with conversation as attendees from across disciplines – from undergraduates seeking placement-year opportunities to PhD students with patented technologies – shared insights and experiences. This diversity of backgrounds sparked lively discussions and unexpected collaborations.

Organisers from the Enterprise Lab stated:

“The Entrepreneurship Café is about creating a space for different groups to connect and collaborate. It was great to see such a strong turnout and to watch so many useful connections being made – moments like that really show the value of building a supportive community of entrepreneurs.”

Following the success of this inaugural session, the Enterprise Lab plans to make the Entrepreneurship Café a regular feature, potentially running each month or term.
