Imperial partners with Santander to offer ten £1,000 grants to students

Imperial students can apply for a share of £10,000 in funding through the Santander Brighter Futures Grants, part of the university’s partnership with the bank. 

Ten students will each receive £1,000. Applicants are not required to bank with Santander to receive the grant. 

The money is unrestricted. Recipients can put it towards rent or utility bills, a laptop or study equipment, travel, everyday living expenses or course-related costs, an initiative aiming to aid students with the rise of living costs. 


Requirements

• Currently enrolled at Imperial 

• Aged 18 or over

• Undergraduate or postgraduate

• Full-time or part-time

• No Santander account required

How to apply

•  Register to Santander Open Academy

•  Verify email address

•  Log in and select “Get Started”

•  Choose Imperial College London

•  Complete the application 

Students who are not selected will still get access to Santander Open Academy, an online platform with free resources on employability, personal and professional development, study techniques and career confidence.

Applications close 23:59 on Thursday 3 December, terms and conditions apply. 

Applications can be made through Santander Open Academy.
