Newcastle's goal machine

Aleksander Isak is one to watch this season

As the season enters its crucial stages, one player to keep an eye on is Alexander Isak, the 25 year-old striker currently making waves at Newcastle United.

Isak, who joined Newcastle from Real Sociedad, has developed into one of the Premier League's most exciting attacking talents.

Known for his pace, technical ability, and particularly clinical finishing, Isak has proven to be a handful for defenders, most recently William Saliba of Arsenal, in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final. Isak has this wonderful talent of turning low chance, low volume attacks into high-chance, high-volume attacks simply by using his body expertly and having some of the best finishing in the league.

He is currently the best striker in the world this season. In total he has 19 goals and 5 assists in 27 appearances this season, averaging at least 1 goal contributing per game.

transfermarkt.com currently has him valued at £75m, but this will move into three figures as we enter the summer window. Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United will be watching. Real Madrid may also, too, considering they have three wingers across their front line. He has already said he would not leave Newcastle unless he is guaranteed Champions League football each season.
